Blackfinch has made the additional hire to meet
increasing business demand in 2020
Lucas Cutts has joined Blackfinch Property as an Investment Assistant. His arrival follows the recent appointment of Jordan Kong, also as an Investment Assistant, in Q4 2019, and takes the team’s headcount to 13.
The team includes investment and accounts specialists, plus an in-house legal team as a unique feature. This enables the firm to produce finance documents internally and save time at the back end of the due diligence process.
Lucas (pictured) previously worked at Equilaw where he spent four years as a Senior Case Manager, handling over 150 cases per month, with a specialism in residential conveyancing. He also holds a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Sheffield and a master’s in Management from École du Management in Bordeaux, France.
David Higson, Investment Director and Head of Property at Blackfinch Property, said: “We’re thrilled to have Lucas join us. His legal experience and business knowledge mean he will provide invaluable support as we continue to complete on deals for many more developers.
As part of Blackfinch Property’s flexible and efficient approach, Lucas will be involved at key stages of each deal. He will help to ensure a smooth path to completion as the team works with multiple parties, often resolving complex issues at pace. “
Blackfinch Property is a fully funded provider of innovative short-term bridging and development financing solutions. The firm has grown rapidly since launch in 2014.
Deal flow is set to remain high in 2020. The Blackfinch Property team looks forward to continuing to engage with brokers, appraise lending opportunities and support ambitious developers nationwide.
