Evolve Media EIS investee company First Score Music continues film award season run with BAFTA wins for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Evolve Media EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme) investee company First Score Music (FSM), owner of rights to the score for the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, is benefiting from the film’s continued awards success. The film won five awards at the 2018 British Academy Film and Television Awards (BAFTAs), including for Best Film and Outstanding British Film.

The BAFTA wins follow on from four awards for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri at the 2018 Golden Globes, and two wins at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, along with seven Oscar nominations.

This strong film award season run continues to raise the profile of the film and its popularity with audiences, extending its presence in cinemas and across digital platforms globally. In turn this ensures that the film’s soundtrack will continue to generate royalties through FSM, further benefiting investors in the Evolve Media EIS Portfolios.

FSM received investment from the Evolve Media EIS Portfolios, enabling it to work on managing creation and ownership of the film’s score. The EIS invests in fast-growing companies in the media and entertainment sectors focused on music publishing and television production and distribution. Blackfinch’s specialist team applies its expertise to target companies with strong prospects, predictable income streams and recurring revenues.

The Evolve Media EIS Portfolios remain open for investment until mid-March 2018. With Royal Assent for changes to EIS bringing forward the tax-year end, alongside the success of underlying investee firms, demand for the EIS is likely to be high. Blackfinch welcomes enquiries and applications for investment from advisers and clients.
